Shadow Day in Latvia

Today, in Latvia, is the official Shadow Day, known as Ēnu Diena, where students are allowed to be “shadows” of their wanted job’s workers.

For one day, they follow worker’s each step. Students are introduced to the tasks they would have, if they would be working at the job.

It’s a useful chance for students to make sure if their future plans would be associated in some way with the job they are shadowing.

Ēnu diena (Shadow day) is also a great chance for companies or workers to connect with students. They can gain fresh ideas and new outlooks of their job. Also, it’s a great way to put companies names out there for the young adult audience.
